El tack residual da la apariencia que el Primer Sealer no ha secado, pero es exactamente esta propiedad la que hace incrementar la adherencia entre el Termoplástico y el Sustrato.
La pintura termoplástica puede ser aplicada directamente a la superficie ya sea que se señalicen carreteras o vialidades a base de concreto hidráulico o asfalto, sin embargo con el uso del primer Sealer se tienen ventajas mayores de adherencia , especialmente cuando se trata de concretos hidráulicos. Este primario es de color claro, transparente y ligeramente amarillento, pero puede ser pigmentado de negro y otro color para lograr un mayor contraste con la Termoplástica , ya que a menudo el color blanco de la termoplástica se confunde con el color del concreto hidráulico sobre todo, con la luz del día.
